News Desk: BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, 'I will tell the people of Chittagong, you have made this rally a success, we want to get our democracy back. We want all our rights back including freedom of speech. So this fight is a big fight, a tough fight. We have to win this fight. He said these things in the departmental mass meeting called by BNP to demand the release of Khaleda Zia and the increase in the prices of daily necessities, the killing of five activists by the police and the release of Khaleda Zia. Mirza Fakhrul Islam said that this government is an unelected government, not a government elected by the people. The people of this country never accepted them. They cremated this Bangladesh. This Sheikh Hasina is looting and smuggling abroad. Meanwhile people are dying of hunger. The price of each curry has increased three to five times. Electricity, gas, water prices have increased. I hear, the price of electricity will increase again. They looted and built a house in Begumpara, Canada. And the people are spending their days in hardship. He said, today's assembly of BNP is no longer an assembly, it has now become a grand assembly. Today we are talking from a place, near which is the Kalurghat radio station. Ziaur Rahman made the country independent by declaring the first independence from there. Demanding unconditional release of Khaleda Zia, Mirza Fakhrul said, our leader is imprisoned today. He is not receiving proper treatment. They threaten us and send our leader back to jail. But they don't know, Khaleda Zia is not afraid of jail. He said, this government has factionalized judiciary, administration, police and RAB. Today, workers of Awami League, Jubo League and Chhatra League across the country are helping people to smuggle money abroad. They say that famine is coming in the country. Eat less oil, use less electricity. And we say, why are you in power? He resigned today. In the rally, BNP Vice Chairman Mir Mohammad Nashir Uddin said that Khaleda Zia's government will continue from December 10. Those who are threatening to send Khaleda Zia back to jail will not be found after December 10. The movement to overthrow the government started from Chittagong. Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, a member of the BNP Standing Committee, said, "The people of Chittagong have shown today. The fields are filled to the brim. The message that the whole world will get from this public meeting is only one, Sheikh Hasina, you should resign. It's time to let go of your power. The movement that has started from Chittagong field will not stop easily. Our leaders are made of pure gold. If necessary, I will bring down Sheikh Hasina with my life. He said, prepare a list of Awami League leaders and activists who will try to prevent any meeting. They will be judged not by us but by the people. We are here with the demands of the people. Still you dare not interrupt. Addressing the government, he said that the prices of daily necessities are higher today due to their theft and looting during the tenure of this government. Not only that; The price of electricity and water is also high. Repeated vote stealers, democracy will not be returned to them. You think Sheikh Hasina will escape from this country. No we will not let escape. BNP has history, when this country is in danger with democracy; That's when this party came forward and saved the country's democracy. We are with the people. It has been reported that at least 10 BNP activists were injured in car searches, vandalism and attacks at various places on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway on the way to the rally. This caused a long traffic jam from the search area of the highway to the Chittagong-bound lane. Due to the search, the traffic jam exceeded 10 km.
