Panchagarh executive officers and upazila chairman visited the pujamandap

Al Masud, Panchagarh: Panchagarh Sadar Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Md. Masudul Haque and Upazila Chairman Md. Amirul Islam visited various puja mandaps for Autumn Durga Puja. On Tuesday (October 4) from evening to night, they visited various worship mandaps of Hafizabad, Amarkhana, Satmera, Harivasa Union. During this time, they inquired whether there is any problem in the mandaps as well as the law and order situation. They also inquired about the Hindu religious leaders of the pooja mandap and all the visiting mandaps and exchanged Shardia greetings and blessings with them. Executive Officer (UNO) Md. Masudul Haque said, We have come among you today to share the joy of autumn Durga Puja festival and we are taking information about the law and order situation. We are always there to celebrate the Puja in a joyful atmosphere and will remain till the end of the Puja. Upazila Chairman Md. Amirul Islam said, in the major religious festivals of the Hindu community, we are visiting every puja mandap and making inquiries about the law and order situation, as well as giving small cash gifts to the leaders of each mandap committee. On the other hand, we are working to ensure that law and order does not deteriorate until the idol is abandoned. Upazila Vice Chairman Kazi Al Tariq, Female Vice Chairman Nilufar Yasmin and others were also present during the inspection.
