Nazrul Islam Raju, Rangpur Bureau: Chairman of National Party and Deputy Leader of Opposition in Jatiya Sangsad Golam Mohammad (GM) Quader said that the support given to Awami League government has not been reflected. What this government is doing after coming to power is one degree higher than BNP. We want that to change. Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader MP Rao also said that Awami League is oppressing more than BNP, Jatiya Party is disappointed with the government's activities. He said that the country's situation is extremely fragile, how much can the people of the country bear the debt burden that the government is imposing on the people in the name of mega projects. Doubtful about it, he expressed fear that there may be a major disaster in the economy ahead, he said this while talking to reporters. He also said that there is no break in the Jatiya Party, some decisions have been taken to strengthen the party. Whether the Jatiya Party will participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections or join any alliance, the decision has not been taken yet. He said this while talking to reporters at Rangpur Circuit House on Monday (October 3) afternoon. In response to a question from reporters about forming an alliance in the elections, GM Quader said that no decision has been taken yet. It is very important that we do not go to the polls. The existence of our future politics depends on it. Therefore, a decision will be taken in this regard by discussing with the leaders and workers of the party from the grassroots level. Regarding the secret alliance with BNP, GM Quader said, "We do not do any secret alliance. Everything will be transparent. Even though there are policy differences between BNP and Awami League, referring to their activities, the party chairman said that the people of the country want someone other than them. The people of the country want social security, the people of the country want to be rescued from murder, rape and looting. We are carrying forward our own politics. I want to give healthy politics to the people of the country. Referring to Ershad's regime, GM Quader said, these were not there during Ershad's regime. Minorities were good. There was good governance in the country. Corruption was low. We want to move the country forward by ensuring such good governance. Pointing out that the overall situation of the country is very fragile, GM Quader said that the political situation is unstable. Elections ahead. But we don't understand anything till now. I do not understand whether all the parties will participate in the elections, whether the elections will be free and fair. GM Quader said that the economic condition of the country is more fragile and the income of expatriates is decreasing in the country. Where the import costs are increasing, the reserves are decreasing. I doubt that the country will be able to bear the debt burden of various mega projects. GM Quader said about the split in the Jatiya Party, many people express interest in elections if they are in a party. We have not chosen one person from among them. Current mayor Mostafizar Rahman Mostafa will be nominated for the post of mayor in the Rangpur City Corporation election.
