Heroin and drug dealer arrested in Jamalpur

Jamalpur Correspondent: RAB-14 arrested a drug dealer named Washkuruni (30) in Molandhe of Jamalpur. He was arrested on Thursday (September 29) evening. The arrested Washkuruni is the son of deceased Abdur Rahim of Chakdah, Sardarbari village of Melandah upazila. Eight grams of heroin was recovered from him. RAB-14, CPC-1, under the leadership of Jamalpur Camp Company Commander Squadron Leader Ashiq Uzzaman and Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police MM Sabuj Rana, RAB arrested the drug dealer Waskuruni in front of M/s Alam Autohaus at Shaheed Minar intersection in Melandhar. At that time eight grams of heroin, 1 mobile set with him were recovered. The value of recovered heroin is 80 thousand taka. He has admitted to buying, selling and supplying drugs in different parts of the district for a long time. Company commander Ashiq Uzzaman said in a press release at 10 pm that a case has been filed against him at Melandah police station.
