The price of gold in the country's market is further reduced

News Desk:  The instability in the gold market is not stopping. This time the price has been reduced by 1 thousand 49 taka. As a result, the price of 22 carat (good quality) gold rose to 81 thousand 298 taka. Bangladesh Jewelery Association (BAJUS) took this decision on Monday to reduce prices in the international market. It will be effective from Tuesday.

This information was informed in a press release signed by MA Hannan Azad, chairman of Bajus Price Determination and Price Monitoring Standing Committee. According to the new announcement of Bajus, from September 27, it will cost 81 thousand 298 taka to buy good quality 22 carat gold (11.664 grams). The price of 21 carat gold has been fixed at 77 thousand 623 taka.

18 carats will be priced at Tk 66,484 per lot and traditional method at Tk 55,170 per lot.

However, the price of silver has been kept unchanged as before. According to the category, the price of 22 carat silver is 1 thousand 516 taka. The price of 21 carat silver remains unchanged at Tk 1,435, 18 carat silver at Tk 1,225 and traditional silver at Tk 933.
