Chhatra League investigation committee in Eden incident

News Desk: A two-member investigation committee has been formed in the case of BCL conflict at Eden College in the capital. The committee has been directed to submit the investigation report with recommendations to the central office cell within the next 24 hours. This information was announced in a press release signed by Chhatra League Central President Al-Nahian Khan Joy and General Secretary Uktar Bhattacharya on Sunday (September 25). The two members of the investigation committee are Central Chhatra League Vice President Tilottama Shikder and Chhatra League Central Joint General Secretary Benazir Hossain Nishi. Eden College president Tamanna Jasmine Riva and general secretary Razia Sultana have been accused of beating up a Chhatra League leader named Jannatul Ferdous from the hall for giving an interview to the media about extortion and seat-trading. In this incident, on Saturday (September 24) around 11:30 pm, ordinary students protested at the Eden College campus. At this time, ordinary students also demanded their resignation. Victim of torture, vice president Jannatul Ferdous said that he was beaten up in the room of the president and general secretary while giving an interview to the media about the seat trade. This BCL leader told the media that the president, general secretary and their supporters have also put up her objectionable photos. He will commit suicide if the incident is not properly investigated and prosecuted within the next 24 hours.
