20 people were injured in a road accident in Faridpur - 4 feared

Ehsan Rana, Faridpur: At least 20 people were injured in a collision between two buses at Gangavardi in Faridpur suburb around 12 noon. The condition of 4 of them is critical. 15 passengers of the bus were injured when an electric pole entered a bus. 5 passengers of the other bus were injured. 4 of the injured are in critical condition. Two of them have been sent to Dhaka. On reaching the spot, the witnesses said that a high-speed bus of Talukdar Paribahan leaving from Dhaka rammed the JR Paribahan traveling in the opposite direction from Meherpur. The JR vehicle crashed into a tree on the side of the road. On the other hand, Talukdar's transport lost control and hit a crane on the side of the road. In this, a huge electric pole enters from the front of the bus and goes all the way to the back. At least 15 passengers in the bus were injured. The condition of 4 of the injured is critical. The injured were rescued and sent to Faridpur Medical College Hospital. Two of them have been sent to Dhaka in critical condition.
