Jessore's Sharsha SSC examinee rape victim

Benapole Correspondent: An SSC candidate (18) was raped in a love affair in Jessore's Sharsha. The rape victim brought her boyfriend Hasan Ali (20) on his mobile phone at night. In this incident, the people of the local village arrested the lover Hasan and his accomplice and handed it over to the police. According to the villagers, there are 3 more fugitives suspected to be involved in the incident. The incident took place in Kandappur village of Nizampur Union of Sharsha Upazila at around 10:30 pm on Thursday (September 22). The rape victim school girl was arranged to take the test under police guard. The arrested are Hasan Ali (20), son of fish merchant Shahjahan Mallick of Bara Nizampur village of Nizampur union of the upazila, and Masud (20), son of Rizaul Karim of the same village. Apart from this, Nuruzzaman (27) son of Mizan Chowkidar of Kandappur village of the same university, Sakib (28) son of Phatik, Nasim Hossain (28) son of Jahan Ali are absconding. A local UP member and some villagers said that the mother of the raped schoolgirl was hospitalized due to illness and called her boyfriend Hasan Ali to the empty house around 10:30 on Thursday night. They were staying in the same room. Hasan's friend Masud was staying in a nearby tea shop. At the same time, three youths of the area, Nuruzzaman, Shakib and Nasim, saw the matter and saw the two of them indulging in immoral activities and arrested the two friends and the victim girl and recorded the video on their mobile phones. At one point, they beat Hasan and held him back, telling the victim and his family that Nuruzzaman, Saqib and Naseem forcibly raped the victim. Later, the locals told the family members that they arrested Masud along with his boyfriend for engaging in immoral activities with the girl. Local people informed the arrested Hasan Ali and Masud later on the members of Gorpara Police Camp and arrested both of them from the spot and took them to Sharsha police station. Presently, Nuruzzaman, Shakib and Nasim fled from the area. Local UP Chairman Salim Reza Vipul said, "I don't know the matter." But I heard through journalists that such an incident happened. I don't know more than that. Officer-in-charge (OC) Mamun Khan of Sharsha police station admitted the truth of the incident and said that two people were arrested and brought to the police station. Police have not received any complaint yet. Since the girl is an SSC candidate, arrangements have been made to give her the exam. After the examination, the girl's statement will be taken and legal action will be taken.
