Thakurgaon Correspondent: Karima Chowdhury Hafezia Forkania Madrasa was inaugurated by Rangpur Range DIG of Bangladesh Police Mohammad Abdul Alim Mahmud BPM at Balia of Sadar Upazila. After inaugurating the madrasa at Chhota Balia on Thursday, he spoke at a discussion meeting after the tree planting program and the release of fish fry. In the opening ceremony organized by Karima Chowdhury Hafezia Forkaniya Madrasa, the president of the organization, Md. Kaderul Haque Chowdhury, spoke as the chief guest, DIG of Rangpur Range of Bangladesh Police Mohammad Abdul Alim Mahmud BPM. Special guest Thakurgaon Superintendent of Police Mohammad Jahangir Hossain spoke among others. General Secretary of District Jatiya Party Rezaur Razi Swapan Chowdhury, former Deputy Secretary of Central A-League and Member of District A-League Raziur Reza Khokon Chowdhury, General Secretary of Karima Foundation Raziul Farooq Romel Chowdhury and others also spoke. Additional Superintendent of Police (In-Service Training) Nashir Uddin Jubair, District Fisheries Officer Md. Khaleduzzaman, Regional Director of Bangladesh Betar Thakurgaon Md. Abdur Rahim, District Commandant of Thakurgaon Ansar and VDP Dr. Lutfar Rahman, District Election Officer Md. Shafiqul Islam, DD Farukh Hossain of BADC, Prescab President Mansoor Ali, Farhan Reza Ripon Chowdhury, Super Mao of Madrasa: Saiful Islam and other teachers, students and local dignitaries of the Madrasa. At the beginning of the program, the chief guest, Bangladesh Police Rangpur Range DIG Mohammad Abdul Alim Mahmud BPM was welcomed by the madrasa students with flowers. After the formal inauguration of the madrasa by cutting the ribbon, the chief guest released the fish fry in the nearby pond. Later, after planting some forest and fruit tree saplings in the Madrasa area, he addressed the discussion meeting. On his way back from the event, he visited the historic Ballia Masjid (Zinr Mosque) in Ballia.
