Rabiul Alam Ivan, Kushtia representative: District Chhatra League held a press conference at Kushtia district Awami League office on Wednesday (September 21) at 11:30 a.m. in view of complaints against some Chhatra League leaders including the top Chhatra League leaders of the district. Kushtia District Chhatra League President Atiqur Rahman Anik and General Secretary Sheikh Hafiz Challenge addressed the press conference. District Chhatra League President Atiqur Rahman Anik said that these allegations of the girl are false, fabricated, baseless and conspiratorial. General Secretary Sheikh Hafiz Challenge said, "The allegations against the leaders are not correct. The alleged leader is trying to frame me. Chhatra League leaders are also trying to be framed. I strongly condemn and protest this incident. He further said that the alleged leader is married, has immoral relationships with many people and is involved in drugs and has immoral relationships with various men. Those pictures have spread on social media. We don't know who or who spread it. Sheikh Hafiz challenged, "In the real sense, before making the full committee of Kushtia district branch, I got a lot of complaints against that girl while sorting out." Extorting money by marrying, engaging in immoral activities. As a result of which her name has not been given in the proposed 151-member district committee, the student is muttering these insults. On the other hand, "GD at the police station, protesting against getting no remedy despite making specific complaints in writing to the police and accusing Kushtia District BCL General Secretary Sheikh Hafiz Challenge of bad proposals, district BCL leader Noorin Rahman held a press conference." He read a written statement at a press conference at a restaurant in Barabazar, Kushtia city on Wednesday (21 September) at 11 o'clock. In a written statement, he said, "Kushtia district BCL general secretary Sheikh Hafiz started the BCL politics by taking the challenge. Since then I was called to his house for various reasons. One day, he asked to agree to any of his conditions if he wanted to team up with him. I declined his offer, but a personal photo challenge in a t-shirt with one of my grandfathers somehow took hold. Later, he called me at his home, showed me the picture, and mailed me a counter-proposal. If I do not agree to his proposal, he threatens to make the picture viral. But I got scared and called him a bad person and tried to keep myself alone. To take revenge for this insult, Chavalan posted the pictures of his younger brothers and some edited pictures of me with a fake Facebook ID and captioned them in bad language. When seen on the street, the associates of Challeng are threatening in various ways including nonsense. The level is increasing day by day, I filed a written complaint at the Kushtia Model Police Station on September 19 without finding any solution. But even after three days, the police did not take any action. His accomplices are threatening me in various ways, including counter-challenges. Even since then, by opening Facebook IDs under different names and posting nonsense writings defaming my character and honor, it has made my survival miserable while protecting my social and family security. I have repeatedly informed the police about this incident, but I am not getting any remedy." This Chhatra League leader also said that if there is no remedy for the constant threat to his honor, dignity and safe life, he will have no other option but to choose the last path of suicide. He also said, I went to the SP office on Tuesday, he was not in the office. I have informed this matter to the district leaders, they are not taking any action. They are just assuring me that yes we will arrange for you. He sought the intervention of Hon'ble Prime Minister and Chief of Police through a press conference. In this incident, he gave a statement at the Kushtia Model Police Station on September 20 mentioning the names of 6 leaders of the District Chhatra League. However, confirming the truth of this counter-complaint, Kushtia Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Police Inspector Delwar Hossain Khan said, 'I have received a written complaint from a Chhatra League leader named Noreen Rahman. The allegations are being investigated. All are equal before the law. The police are not treating anyone more or less seriously. If the truth of the incident is found, legal action will be taken against those involved.
