Prime Minister's visit to India did not fulfill BNP's expectations: Obaidul Quader

News Desk: General Secretary of Awami League and Minister of Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader said that if BNP leaders cover their eyes with their palms then they should not see any achievements of the Prime Minister's visit to India. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's visit to India met the expectations of the countrymen, but the expectations of the BNP were not met, as they want hostile relations with their neighbours, especially with India.

He also urged the BNP leaders not to spread false propaganda and rumors about Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's visit to India but to look in the mirror at what the achievements of India's visit were during their regime.

He made this call to the BNP leaders while briefing journalists at the regular press conference organized at his residence on Saturday.

Referring to the politics of BNP, the general secretary of Awami League said that they have built a wall of doubt and mistrust between the two countries, spreading the poison of communalism.

Claiming that BNP could not solve any bilateral problem during their rule, Obaidul Quader said that President Sheikh Hasina has broken the walls of doubt and mistrust and created a bridge between the two countries. In continuation of that, this visit has spread new light of possibilities in the direction of mutual friendship and development.

Awami League General Secretary Sheikh Hasina said about what Bangladesh got during her visit to India, India has given everything that the people need to survive in the current reality of the country in view of the global crisis.

BNP does not believe in terrorism, Obaidul Quader said in response to Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir's statement that the people of the country actually know that BNP lives with terrorism and conspiracy. BNP was born at the mouth of the gun barrel.

Awami League general secretary also said that the politics of BNP is based on these three, terrorism, communalism and conspiracy.

Obaidul Quader said that the target of BNP is looting and corruption. BNP is nurturing lawsuits-attacks-conspiracies and terrorism-anarchy in the politics of this country, which it is still doing. BNP has no commitment to the people, never had, never has. live
