I do politics for the people, not for the election

News desk: Krishak Sramik Janata League founder Bangbir Quader Siddiqui said, “I don't do politics for elections. I do politics for the people. Now talking only about the liberation war will not work. People should talk about eating and reading. We must talk about the safety of people's lives. We have to talk about the chaos of the streets.

He said these things while addressing the chief guest at the party's staff meeting in Kalihati upazila at the auditorium cum community center of Tangail's Kalihati upazila headquarters on Tuesday (September 6) evening.

Quader Siddiqui says, “If you can organize, then you don't have to look anywhere else. The key to all victory is organization, organization and organization. If I had not been able to build an army in 1971, no one would have known or understood me. The Pakistanis chased us away like cats and dogs. We chased those Pakistanis like jackals.”

Without referring to Awami League, BNP, Jatiya Party, Quader Siddiqui said, "We have a responsibility towards Bangladesh and everyone in the country. Therefore, if you can organize every day without sitting at home, then you will see that you do not have to go to anyone. Big leaders will come to your organization. You will go to the poor, go to the rickshaw pullers, go to the farmer, go to the mothers and sisters of the house. Let this be the motto of Kalihati workers meeting today.”

President of Krishak Sramik Janata League Kalihati Upazila Branch Engineer Lutfur Rahman Siddiqui presided over and Mizanur Rahman Minjur, Organizing Secretary of Upazila Youth Movement, as special guests spoke at the staff meeting. Siddiqui, Member Shamim Al Mansoor Azad Siddiqui, Engineer Liaqat Ali, Tangail District Farmers Workers Janata League President Advocate Rafiqul Islam, Acting General Secretary ATM Chalek Hitlu, Convener of Upazila Youth Movement SM Nazmul Alam Feroz and others.
