News desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina met the President of India Draupadi Murmu. The meeting was held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Tuesday (September 6) afternoon. This information was given in a statement of the Office of the President of India. Draupadi Murmu said, “We are connected to each other by history, language and culture.” Noting that the bilateral relations between the two countries have grown tremendously under the leadership of Narendra Modi and Sheikh Hasina, he added, "The manner in which India and Bangladesh have celebrated 50 years of Bangladesh's independence and the golden jubilee of India-Bangladesh bilateral relations is truly unique." The President of India said that India will always stand by Bangladesh as a development partner.
