News Desk: Sweat will happen in summer. But sweat doesn't mean it will smell bad and you have to be uncomfortable about it. Sweat is the body's temperature regulator. It has no color or smell. But body odor is caused by sweat and bacteria accumulated in the folds of the body. Not everyone sweats the same. How much one sweats depends on the number of sweat glands. People who have more sweat glands in their body also sweat more. But comparatively women sweat less than men. Today's discussion is about how to get rid of the problem of sweating and stay cool in the heat. Dhaka Medical College Hospital Dermatology Department Professor and Head Dr. Rashed Mohammad Khan gives some advice. cleanliness Staying clean is the first step to eliminating sweaty odors in the heat. To stay clean, you have to take a good bath. Bathing removes bacteria from our body. Bath should be done with good quality soap. Mix cologne in bath water to get rid of dandruff. fragrance The smell of perfume mixes with the natural smell of the body to create a different smell. That smell may not be to everyone's taste. So don't buy any perfume suddenly without testing it. Do not wear strong smelling perfumes on hot days. Apply perfume on wrists, neck, armpits, the smell will last longer. Deodorant Use deodorant to stay fresh and cool in summer. Deodorants contain anti-bacterial agents, which prevent bacteria from becoming active. Anti bacterial soap Many people have very sensitive skin. If you apply perfume or deodorant, rash comes out. If so, use anti-bacterial soap. Apply talcum powder or baking soda to areas that sweat a lot. Diet Eating strong, pungent-smelling foods increases bad breath. So avoid these foods this summer. Eat less onion, garlic, garam masala, coffee. They increase the odor of sweat. Which is important to remember Bathe twice daily. Bathing must be done after exercise or sports. After bathing, wipe feet well and apply powder. The feet will sweat less. Shampoo your hair regularly. Wear comfortable clothes. Use cotton under garments. Wear cotton socks. Wear shoes that allow the feet to breathe. If you have sweaty feet, change your shoes every day. Do not wear the same shoes two days in a row. Walk barefoot whenever possible. If you have to wear shoes for a long time, take them off occasionally. Wipe it off as soon as you sweat. Avoid smoking. Because the smell of smoking mixes with other elements of the body to create an unpleasant smell. Use umbrellas and sunglasses when going out in the sun. Be sure to drink plenty of water and fruit juice.
