On August 27, Saturday afternoon, Deputy Commissioner AKM Ghaliv Khan spoke to the affected people and listened to their plight and gave general guidance. DC Ghaliv Khan informed about the measures taken to ensure the safety of the flood victims. Apart from this, he reassured them by promising full cooperation from the district administration. During the visit, the District Commissioner was deeply saddened to see this cruelty of nature. He accompanied Mokhlesur Rahman and witnessed the initiatives taken by them on the ground and provided overall guidance for the protection of Paard Dam.
