Sports Desk: There has been a sudden buzz in the country's cricket community, the head coach of the Bangladesh team, Russell Domingo, is resigning. Several national dailies have reported that he is leaving the job. However, dismissing such rumours, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) said that Domingo's resignation is not true. BCB Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Nizam Uddin Chowdhury confirmed that Domingo did not resign in Mirpur on Thursday (August 25) afternoon. Nizam Uddin said, “I think it is a complete misunderstanding (resignation). Russell may have meant otherwise. We talked today. The details have been discussed. Russell is also embarrassed about these things." Recently, BCB released Domingo from the responsibility of the T20 team. As a result, he did not go to the Asia Cup with the team. He is currently in charge of the Test and ODI team of Bangladesh.
