Protest rally in Dinajpur demanding price reduction

Salah Uddin Ahmed, Dinajpur: The leaders and activists of two organizations named Samyavadi Andolan and Samajtantrik Dal held a joint demonstration in Dinajpur city to protest against the increase in the prices of commodities including fuel, oil, gas and electricity and to demand reduction in the prices of daily necessities. They held a human chain program with a short meeting in front of the Dinajpur Press Club on Tuesday morning. Later they protested on the main road of the city with various slogans. Moniruzzaman, district coordinator of the communist movement and others were present at the time.
