News desk: Six people have died in the fire incident in Chawkbazar of the capital. The bodies of four of them have been recovered. The process of recovering the bodies of the rest is underway.

Fire Service Inspector. Anwar confirmed this information. He said that 6 bodies were found. Three bodies have been recovered.

Anwar fears that the number of deaths may increase. He said, we found 6 dead bodies in the second floor. More bodies may be found.

Four of the six dead have been identified. They are - Md. Sharif (15), Md. Billal (35), Md. Swapan (22), Md. Osman (25). The identities of the other two have not yet been confirmed.

Earlier, fire services personnel said that five employees of the Barisal hotel where the fire is believed to have started were inside. No one could say for sure how many of them managed to get out.

Hotel worker. Osman and Md. Two named Billal were reported missing by their relatives. Their mobile phones were switched off since the fire.

Missing Osman's cousin. Rubel said Osman was working in the Barisal Hotel on the ground floor of the building where the fire broke out. He worked at night and slept in the two locks of that building. But after the fire there is no trace of him. Called his phone several times but found it switched off.

He said, I went to the second floor of the building where the fire broke out. There we found some things like human bones.

Md. Another named Abdullah said, Md. His brother-in-law named Billal (33) is also missing. He also worked in Barisal Hotel. He was sleeping on the second floor of the building after night duty last night. He has not been found since the fire.

Meanwhile, the fire service was able to bring the fire under control after about 2 hours on Monday around 12 noon.

Some eyewitnesses claimed that the fire started from the explosion of a cylinder in the hotel. They say that after the cylinder explosion, the fire started in the power transformer. After another round of explosion there, a plastic toy manufacturing factory caught fire.
