Mostafizur Rahman Mostafa, Lalmonirhat: Police arrested two Indian national drug dealers with illegal entry into the border and one hundred bottles of Indian Phencidil and one liter of open Phencidil. On Thursday (August 11) at 10:30 p.m., Hatibandha police station arrested them based on secret information in North Gotamari Elka, a defunct enclave in Hatibandha upazila of Lalmonirhat district. Hatibandha Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shah Alam confirmed that two Indian nationals arrested on Friday (August 12) have been sent to jail. Jahangir Alam (20) son of Ibleshar Ali of Lalarpar village of Shitalkhuchi upazila of Cooch Behar district and Hasen Ali (23) son of Enamul Mia of Pathantali village of the same upazila were arrested. According to police sources, based on a tip-off that two Indian nationals were entering Bangladesh illegally, on Thursday night raids were conducted in North Gotamari area of ​​the defunct enclave of the upazila and Indian nationals Jahangir Alam (20) and Hasen Ali (23) were arrested. Meanwhile, Indians recovered one hundred bottles of Phensidyl and one liter of open Phensidyl from them. On Friday (August 12), the arrested two Indian nationals have been sent to jail on two charges of drug and illegal entry, confirmed Shah Alam, officer-in-charge of Hatibandha police station.
