12 skeletons stolen from Shivalaye graveyard

Shahjahan Biswas, Manikganj: Skeletons were stolen from 12 graves last night in Barabowali cemetery of Shivaloy upazila of Manikganj and Dakshin Katrasin cemetery of Utholi union. It is expected to happen sometime between Wednesday and night. These two cemeteries are on the side of Dhaka-Aricha highway, Paturia junction, More and Sadar Uddin College. According to local sources, a total of 12 graves are dug up and skeletons stolen from Barabowali cemetery and South Katrasin cemetery of the upazila at any time of the night. It is thought that a convoluted cycle can cause this phenomenon. Officers-in-charge of Shivaloy police station, Md. Shahin, sought the truth of the incident and said, "We sent the police to the cemetery as soon as we heard the incident." We are investigating the matter seriously.
