Allegation of beating women and taking away cows in Faridpur

Ehsan Rana, Faridpur: Ward No. 2 of Komarpur Union of Sadar Upazila of Faridpur, area adjacent to Bahirdia Bridge. Akir Hossain's wife Nurjahan Begum has been beaten and the woman has complained that she took away four Friesian cows. Nurjahan Begum said that the incident happened on Tuesday around 10:30 pm. Nurjahan Begum also said that when I came out of the house at night when I felt the presence of people, 7/8 miscreants held me hostage in the mouth of domestic weapons including Ramda, Chana and snatched the cows from the cowshed. The estimated value of the cows is around 6 lakh rupees. Nurjahan Begum said that a complaint has been filed in the name of Hasib, Kamrul, Maqbool, Nazmul, Rabbi, Jasim, Shaheen and Alamin in the incident at Faridpur Kotyali Police Station.
