Salauddin Ahmed, Dinajpur: The leaders and activists of Jatiya Party and its affiliated organizations held a protest march and rally in the district town of Dinajpur on Wednesday afternoon to protest against the price of daily necessities including rice, pulses, oil and fuel. They raised various slogans demanding action against the corrupt including reducing the price within the purchasing power of the common people.

Jatiya Party did not join, did not leave Rajpath. Addressing the program, Jatiya Party Central Committee Vice Chairman Ahmed Shafi Rubel said that the government has smuggled thousands of crores of taka abroad. Awami League government wanted to feed rice at 10 taka per kg, that rice is now 60, 70 taka per kg. People's lives have become miserable today due to the increase in the prices of medicine, rice, pulses, oil and gas. He also said that the Jatiya Party will not leave the streets until all the robbers who are in Banga Bandhu's boat are tried for their corruption. Will stand by the people of the country.
