Sohel Rana, Narail: On the occasion of the 92nd birth anniversary celebrations of Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib, distribution of sewing machines and payment of cash and discussion meeting was held among the helpless trained women in Narail. The discussion meeting was held on Monday (August 8) at 12:30 PM in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner. Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Habibur Rahman presided over the meeting organized by District Administration and District Women Affairs Directorate. Superintendent of Police Prabir Kumar Roy PPM (Bar), District Awami League President Advocate Subas Chandra Bose, Municipal Mayor Anjuman Ara, Deputy Director of District Women Affairs Department Moushumi Rani Majumdar, District Secondary Education Officer SM Chayedur Rahman, Ansar and Village were present. Defense Force District Commandant Bikash Chandra Das, Sadar Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Sadia Islam, Vir Muktijodha Saifur Rahman Hilu, Vir Muktijodha SA Matin and many others. After the meeting, sewing machines and cash were distributed among the needy trained women. A total of 24 trained women were provided with sewing machines in the district. Among them 14 in Sadar, 5 in Lohagarh and 5 in Kalia. At the same time, a total of 30 indigent people in the district were given 2 thousand rupees through means (online banking).
