A child drowned in the pond water in Tentulia

Al Masood, Panchagarh Correspondent: A child named Ayan (4) died after drowning in a pond in Panchagarh's Tentulia. The incident took place on Monday (August 8) in Jamadargach village of Banglabandha union of Tentulia upazila. The dead child Ayan is the son of Saizuddin of the same village. According to local sources, the child Ayan was playing near the house on Monday afternoon. At one stage, he suddenly fell into the water of the pond, out of sight of everyone. Later, family members could not find him and when they started looking for him, they found him floating in the water of the pond. With the help of locals, the child was quickly rescued from there and taken to the local village doctor, who declared the child dead. Chairman of Banglabandha Union Parishad, Kudrat-e-Khuda Milan, confirmed the death of a child named Ayan by drowning in water.
