And a few others were busy on their mobile phones while sitting on the balcony of the council. At this time, the flag stand drawn in front of the Union Parishad building can be seen. Flags can be seen flying there. Two entrepreneurs of the council were working inside. When asked why the flag was flying at night to the two entrepreneurs who were busy at work, they stopped for a while. On the other hand, the locals complain that they have been seeing such scenes for several days. According to the government guidelines, there is no rule to hoist the national flag after sunset. If the rules are not followed, there is a provision of imprisonment or fine. Went to that Union Parishad office and talked with entrepreneur Arian Ahmed Sumon. When asked about this on the condition of anonymity, he said, "The village police has been given the responsibility of hoisting and lowering the flag. But I don't know why it was not taken down today. It's time to go or I'll take it down.' Several local people said that they have been seeing the Union Parishad flag being hoisted even at night for several days. Sadar Union Parishad Chairman Md. Shafiqul Islam told reporters, 'We usually leave by noon. That's why I didn't notice it. And the village police is responsible for lowering the flag. But I am taking action knowing why the flag was not lowered. In this regard, Deputy Director of Local Government Engineering Department. Rahul Amin said, according to the rules, the flag is supposed to be hoisted and lowered from sunrise to sunset. But why the flag is flying in the Union Parishad even at night, the matter will be investigated and necessary measures will be taken.
