Two children drowned in Panchagarh pond

Al Masud, Panchagarh: Two children named Rashed (11) and Aneesh (9) died after drowning in the water of a pond in Panchagarh. The incident took place in Khasmahal village of Satmera Union of Panchagarh Sadar Upazila on Sunday (August 7) ​​afternoon. The deceased child was the son of Rashed Abu Taleb. Child Anich is the son of Rehmat Ali of the same village. According to local sources, the deceased Rashed and Anich are neighbors. They were playing near the house in the afternoon. As they did not return home even after evening, two family members started looking for them. Meanwhile, after searching for a long time, he suddenly saw the stars floating in the water of the pond next to the house. With the help of locals, they were quickly rescued and taken to Panchagarh Modern Sadar Hospital, where doctors declared them dead. Satmera Union Parishad Chairman Rabiul Islam Ravi confirmed the death of the two children.
