Narail Correspondent: On the occasion of the 98th birth anniversary of eminent painter SM Sultan, ArtCamp was held at Narail. This art camp was held on Friday (August 5) afternoon at Shishusvarga with the participation of children from Charupeeth Jessore. The children of Charupeeth Jessore participated in painting using the experience of visiting Sultansagrahsala and Shishusvarga. Present at this time were Tandra Mukherjee, Curator of SM Sultan Memorial Museum, Mehdi Hasan Rana, Assistant Curator, Charupith Jessore President Harun Or Rashid, Mamunur Rashid, General Secretary, Pranab Das, Journalist and Cultural Worker, Painter Mofizur Rahman Runnu and other parents. Painter SM Sultan was born on August 10, 1924 in Machimdia, Narail. Around the day, various programs including Korankhani, doa mahfil, garland offering, discussion meeting, children's drawing have been taken up on August 10. SM Sultan died on October 10, 1994.
