Anwara (Chittagong) Correspondent: The missing child went down to bathe at Akmal Ali Point of Patenga Beach in Chittagong. The body of a school student named Ali Newaz Tapu (12) was recovered a day later. Ali Nawaz (Tapu) EPZ area of Darussalam mosque alley Md. Yusuf's son. On Friday (August 05) in the afternoon, the police were informed after seeing the body of a child floating in the yard of Raipur Union of Anwara Upazila. According to local sources, Tapu and his relatives went to bathe at Akmal Ali Point of Patenga Beach on Thursday (04 August). Tapu was swept away by the swirling waves, but his relatives tried to rescue him but could not be found. Nasir Uddin, in-charge of Bar Auliya Naval Police, said that after hearing the news that the body was floating, the Naval Police went to the spot and recovered the body. Later, when the news of finding the body came to light, the child's relatives came and identified the body.
