Sports Desk: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced their squad first for the upcoming Asia Cup. Pacer Hasan Ali did not have a place in the 15-member team. The PCB announced this team through a press statement on Wednesday.

On this day, along with the Asia Cup, the Pakistan board has also given the ODI squad for the three-match series against the Netherlands. The matches of the series will be held in three fields on August 16, 18 and 21. Hasan Ali's name is not in this series either. However, the country's cricket board has referred to rest in Hasan's case without using the word 'wad'.

PCB chief selector Mohammad Wasim said, "Hasan has been given a break from international cricket. Naseem Shah will play instead. He can provide a lot of relief to the fast bowling department. He is a good enough option for attack. Where change is necessary, we have changed only there. Both series are important for us. Talking to the head coach and captain, we announced our best team.

Babar Azma will go to Dubai to play the Asia Cup after finishing the Netherlands series. Pakistan's Asia Cup journey will begin with a match against arch-rivals India on August 28.
