Sadakatul Bari Sada, President of Truck Tanker Covered Van Workers Union of Dinajpur, said that OC Rais Uddin arrested two truck workers on charges of extortion in Kaharol Upazila this afternoon. The leaders of the organization went to the police station to know the details and talk about it But the OC refused to give time after Maghrib to speak and termed their register organization illegal. After hearing the news, the angry ordinary workers blocked various roads of the district from 5 pm. On the other hand, the in-charge (OC) of Kaharol police station Rais Uddin said that they took two laborers to the police station for questioning during extortion at Kaharol beef market. In this regard, he wanted time to talk with the labor leaders after reading the Maghrib prayer. However, he claims that the allegations of calling the organization illegal are true. He said that he is trying to take the next steps by talking to the senior police officers of the district in this regard.
