BNP-Jamaat could not even do a visible development while in power. Mirza Fakhrul became a Member of Parliament from Thakurgaon-1 constituency with the grain of rice of BNP. He served as the Minister of State for Aviation in the then government. But unfortunately he could not open the Thakurgaon airport. Mirza Fakhrul has failed. Ramesh Chandra Sen said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had given all the promises when she came to Thakurgaon. Among them, the biggest project is the university. Then the EPZ.
