28th Foundation Anniversary of Volunteer League celebrated in Ishwardi

Tofazzal Hossain, Pabna: The 28th foundation anniversary of Bangladesh Awami Volunteer League was celebrated in Ishwardi with colorful arrangements. On the occasion of the founding anniversary, on the initiative of the Upazila Volunteer League, on the morning of July 27, national and party flags were hoisted, wreaths were placed at Bangabandhu's mural, colorful rallies, cake cutting and tree planting were held. On this day at 11:30 a.m., the colorful rally of the foundation anniversary of the volunteer league, decorated with banners, festoons, national and party flags, started from the bus terminal and circled the main road of the city. Freedom fighter Alhaj Nuruzzaman Biswas, Member of Parliament of Pabna-4 Constituency, inaugurated the colorful rally. President of Upazila Awami League and Chairman of Upazila Parishad Alhaj Naib Ali Biswas, Vice President of Upazila A-League Mohammad Rashidullah, General Secretary of Upazila A-League Abul Kalam Azad Mintu, General Secretary of Municipal A-League and Mayor Ishahak Ali Malitha, Municipal A-League were present. League Acting President Abdul Khalek, Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Abdsu Salam Khan, Female Vice Chairman Atia Ferdous Kakali, Pabna District A-League Leader Mahjebin Shirin Pia, Upazila A-League Organizing Secretary Shafiul Alam Biswas, Upazila Volunteer League Convener Masud Rana, Upazila Jubo League Leader Dolan Biswas, Joint Convener of Upazila Volunteer League Sajib Malitha, Joint Convenor Shariful Islam, Joint Convener Ahsan Habib Jitu, Members of Volunteer League Ashrafuzzaman Shipan, Shahinuzzaman Shaheen, Nishat Zaman Ami, Sohel Rana and others. It should be noted that Awami Swachhasevak League was established on July 27, 1994 as a subsidiary organization of Awami League on the orders of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
