Plantation program organized by Bashemurbi Prabi Journalist Forum

Mejba Rahman, Bashemurbiprobi representative: Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology (Bashemurbiprobi) of Gopalganj has organized a tree plantation program. The program was inaugurated on Sunday (July 24) at 2 o'clock in the field adjacent to the press forum office. At this time, about half a hundred trees of different fruits, forest, medicinal trees and beauty enhancers were planted. The tree planting ceremony was attended by the president of the tree planting committee of the university, Taslim Ahmed, the president of the teacher's association. Md. Kamruzzaman, General Secretary Dr. Md. Abu Saleh, vice-president Md. Rasheduzzaman Pavitra, publicity secretary Saddam Hossain and teachers of various departments. Bashemurbiprobi Journalist Forum President Sheikh Abdur Rahim was also present, General Secretary Mejba Rahman Supta, Organizing Secretary Rifat Islam, Office Secretary Md Akik Tanzil Jihan, Finance Secretary Mostafizur Rahman Mim and Publicity and Publication Secretary Hriday Sarkar and other members of the organization were also present. Tashlim Ahmed said in the guest speech, our university is a green campus. There is no substitute for tree planting and tree care to protect the balance of the environment and protect it from the adverse effects of climate. Plants take in carbon dioxide and give us oxygen. The initiative taken by Bashemurbiprabi Journalist Forum for tree plantation program is highly commendable. President of the teachers' association. Md. Kamruzzaman said, our university works very well. One of them is to undertake tree plantation program regularly to maintain this beautiful campus. Through this, greening of the campus is ensured. He also said that our honorable Prime Minister said that everyone should plant at least 3 trees even on the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Sheikh Abdur Rahim, President of Bashemurbi Prabi Journalist Forum, said that our organization is always working to protect the reputation of the university. In this continuation, we have taken the initiative to plant a hundred trees Hopefully we can complete this initiative successfully. General Secretary Mejba Rahman Supta said that trees are one of our best friends. As a student there are many responsibilities towards the society. As such, we have taken the initiative of this plantation. We are grateful to everyone involved in this program. It should be noted that Bashemurbi Prabi Journalist Forum was established in 2020 and has been carrying out various social activities to protect the reputation of the university with objective journalism.
