News Desk: Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has reduced the price of gold by a maximum of Tk 1,166 per bar. It has been decided to reduce the price due to the decrease in the price in the international market. This information was informed in a press release signed by BAJUS Standing Committee on Pricing and Price Monitoring Committee Chairman MA Hannan on Sunday (July 17). It is said in the circular that the price of gold has fallen in the international market. Therefore, the new price has been fixed in the country's market. Gold will be sold as per the new price from Monday (July 18). According to the new price, it will cost 77 thousand 216 taka to buy gold of good quality i.e. 22 carat per bari (11.664 grams). Apart from this, 73 thousand 716 taka per 21 carat, 63 thousand 218 taka per 18 carat and 52 thousand 721 taka per traditional method. According to the current price, Sunday good quality ie 22 carat gold is 78 thousand 382 taka. Apart from this, 21 carats are being sold at 74 thousand 882 taka, 18 carats at 64 thousand 152 taka and traditional method at 53 thousand 479 takas. However, the price of silver has been kept unchanged. According to the category, the price of 22 carat silver has been fixed at 1 thousand 516 rupees. The price of 21 carat silver is 1 thousand 435, 18 carat is 1 thousand 225 and the price of traditional silver remains unchanged at 933 rupees.
