News desk: The police recovered the body of former journalist Sohana Tuli (38) from a house in Hazaribagh area of ​​the capital. His body was recovered from a second-floor flat at 299/5 Sher Banglanagar, Rayer Bazar, on Wednesday (July 13) afternoon. Deceased Tuli's house is in Battala area of ​​Jessore Sadar. He lived in this house in Hazaribagh since December 2018. It is known that on Wednesday morning a girlfriend named Nandita Tabassum could not reach her on the phone. He came to Tuli's house in Hazaribagh after not getting a response on the phone. After knocking on the door and getting no response, he entered with the security guard. When he entered the house and found it hanging, he informed everyone. The police came and recovered the body in the afternoon. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Hazaribagh Police Station Moktaruzzaman confirmed the truth of the incident and said, "Initially, it seems like a suicide. But the cause of death will be known after the post-mortem.” Hazaribagh police recovered Tuli's body from the spot and sent it to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital for autopsy. The crime scene collected evidence from the scene. Sohana Tuli was a former student of Dhaka University's Department of Mass Communication and Journalism. He has worked in the daily 'Um Saham', the daily 'Kal Kante'. He was last working in online news portal 'Bangla Tribune' till 2020. After that he worked in a private company for some time. Tuli recently opened an online shop and made her debut as a woman entrepreneur. He was a member of Dhaka Journalists Union and Sub Editor Council.
