Journalists stop writing in Kushtia in protest of journalist Rubel's murder

Rabiul Alam, Kushtia: Journalists of all walks of life in the district held a pen break program in front of Kushtia Model Police Station demanding trial of the murder of journalist Hasibur Rahman Rubel in Kushtia. Journalists from all walks of life in Kushtia district staged a sit-in protest in front of the gate of Kushtia Model Police Station at 11am on Saturday in protest of the murder of journalist Rubel and demanded justice for the killer. At the same time, the speakers unveiled the mystery of the murder of journalist Rubel and demanded exemplary punishment for those involved in the incident by arresting them immediately and bringing them under the law. Local daily and weekly newspapers in Kushtia have been shut down until the killers of journalist Hasibur have been arrested.
