Adam went on Hajj for 11 months and 28 days

International Desk: British pilgrim Adam Mohammad has fulfilled his dream of going to Mecca on foot to perform Hajj. He traveled to different countries and reached Mecca on foot. It took him 11 months and 28 days. During this whole time he has walked about 6,500 kilometers. According to Arab News, the 52-year-old pilgrim arrived in Saudi Arabia from the United Kingdom via the Netherlands, Germany, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Lebanon, Syria and Jordan. The three reached the Ayesha Mosque in Makkah on June 26 after crossing a distance of 18.6 km daily. Adam Mohammad said, “I am very happy to be able to finish the journey. I am overwhelmed by the generosity and love of Saudi and other nationalities. I am interested in Hajj, Hajj is my biggest dream. I am grateful that this journey is possible. It was not an easy journey for me. But I have had to give up everything for the sake of humanity. ” He said, “I have been busy reading the Holy Quran since the ban was imposed in the wake of the coronavirus epidemic. Suddenly one day I woke up and something inside me told me to go to Mecca on foot from my home. I just couldn't ignore the voice and decided to go for it. " It took him only two months to prepare for the difficult journey with the help of a British agency and grants from his countrymen. The Iraqi-Kurdish British national started his journey from his home in Wolverhampton, Britain on August 1, 2021.
