A phone call between French President Emmanuel Macho and Russian President Vladimir Putin over the Ukraine-Russia war has been leaked. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called the phone call a breach of diplomatic etiquette. Politico says the phone call came just four days before Russia's full-scale aggression in Ukraine. It was leaked in a documentary titled 'A President, Europe and War'. "Diplomatic etiquette does not support one-sided leaks of recordings," the visiting Russian foreign minister told a news conference on Tuesday. He added: “Mainly, we are never ashamed of the way we are discussing. We always say what we think, we are always ready to make our position clear. ” Before the attack on Ukraine, the French leader had a phone conversation with Putin. That phone conversation was leaked. Shortly after the phone call was leaked in a documentary, Moscow condemned Paris. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Paris had violated the secrecy of talks with Moscow.
