Raushan Ershad went to Bangkok again from the country for eight days

News Desk: Begum Raushan Ershad, Leader of the Opposition in the Jatiya Sangsad and Chief Patron of the Jatiya Party, left Dhaka for Thailand for a medical checkup after a 7-day stay in Bangladesh.

He left Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Tuesday (July 5) at 1.35pm on a Thai Airways flight en route to Bangkok. He is accompanied by Rangpur 3 constituency MP Pallibandhuputra Rahgir Al Mahi Saad Ershad and Raushan daughter-in-law Mahima Saad.

Former Presidium members Prof Delwar Hossain, Zafar Iqbal Siddiqui, Fakhruzzaman Jahangir, former MP Salauddin Mukti, party vice chairman Nigar Sultana Rani and others bade him farewell at the Westin Hotel in the capital's Gulshan at noon.

Earlier, Begum Raushan Ershad, the Leader of the Opposition in Parliament and the main patron of the Jatiya Party, stayed at the Westin Hotel on June 26 after a six-month stay.

On November 5 last year, Raushan Ershad was taken to Thailand by air ambulance for advanced treatment. He is accompanied by his son Rahgir Al Mahi Saad Ershad and daughter-in-law Mahima Ershad.
