An exchange meeting was held with a group of young and professional journalists of Cox's Bazar District Sadar to form Cox's Bazar Sadar Press Club. Cox's Bazar Sadar Ramu constituency MP and member of the Standing Committee on the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Saimum Sarwar Kamal MP was present as the chief guest at the meeting held at Cox's Bazar Sadar Upazila Parishad conference room at 10:30 am on July 4. Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Zakaria was also present at the event which started with the recitation of Quran by M Bedarul Alam in the presence of senior journalist Mahabubur Rahman of the district. And journalists also have to work for the country by spreading constructive news. Also speaking on the occasion were Sadar Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Rashid Mia, Women Vice Chairman Hamida Taher, Cox's Bazar Press Club Co-President Mamtaz Uddin Bahari, Jhilangja UP Chairman Tipu Sultan, Upazila Engineer Touhidur Rahman and Ramu Press Club President Nitish Bara. Ramu Press Club general secretary Sohaib Saeed, former president Khaled Shahid and other leaders were present at the time.
