News Desk: The holy Eid-ul-Azha is going to be held on July 10. On the occasion of Eid, motorcycles cannot be driven from one district to another for a total of 7 days including 3 days before Eid, 3 days after Eid and 3 days after Eid. Ride sharing service on the highway will also be closed.
Road Transport Secretary ABM Amin Ullah Nuri said this at the Secretariat on Sunday (July 3) afternoon.
The Road Transport Secretary said, “Motorcycles will not be able to move from one district to another for 3 days before Eid, on Eid day and 3 days after Eid without logical reasons. Ride sharing cannot be done on all the highways of the country at the same time. ”
He further said, “If you have to go from one district to another for any urgent reason, you have to inform the police. Motorcycles can go from one district to another subject to the permission of the police. ”
The road transport secretary also said that a circular will be issued immediately as per these decisions.
