News Desk: Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar, chairman of the Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, has said that SSC and equivalent examinations will not be held in July as the flood situation is not yet normal across the country. He said the SSC exams would start in August if the flood situation returns to normal. At noon on Sunday (July 3), he said it would not be possible to take the SSC exam in July. Because today we have reviewed the situation with everyone and saw that more than half of the centers in Sylhet are now being used as shelters. It will take time to reform them and make them suitable for re-examination. Therefore, it will not be possible to take the test in July. The test will start in August. Asked what date the exams could start in August, he said, "We will discuss the matter after Eid." Then I will be able to announce the new date of the test. Asked if the HSC exam would be further delayed, the Dhaka Board of Education chairman said, "Since the HSC exam is related to the SSC exam, this exam will also be delayed."
