Punak's month-long weaving industry and products fair has started in Nilphamari

Mamunar Rashid, Nilphamari: A month-long weaving industry and products fair of Police Women Welfare Association (Punak) has started in Nilphamari. Asaduzzaman Noor, Member of Parliament for Nilphamari-2 (Sadar) constituency announced the inauguration of the Virtual Fair at Nilphamari Barmath on Saturday afternoon. Earlier, pigeons and balloons were flown at the main gate of the fair and the inauguration ceremony was held at the ribbon. Deputy Commissioner Khandaker Yasir Arefin, District Council Administrator Bir Muktijoddha Joynal Abedin, Punak and Fair Organizing Committee Chief Patron Superintendent of Police Mohammad Mokhlesur Rahman, Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Shahid Mahmud, District Lt. President Farhana Binte Aziz, President of Nilphamari Press Club Tahmin Haque Bobby, Former President of Nilphamari Industries and Merchants Association Abdul Waheed Sarkar, General Secretary of Nilphamari Town Club Zulfiqar Ali Jewel and others. Additional DIG of Punak and Superintendent of Police of Nilphamari Mohammad Mokhlesur Rahman said the month-long fair is being organized by the Police Women's Welfare Association (Punak) with the aim of developing the local weaving industry and connecting the common man with the products produced in the industry. 90 stalls from different districts of the country have participated in this month-long fair. The entrance fee for the fair has been fixed at Rs.
