Because the election will not be held under former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett. The election will be held under his ally Yair Lapid. Because according to the terms of the alliance, Bennett will be the prime minister for half of the full term of the government and Lapid for half the term. Earlier, Israel's parliament was formally dissolved in a vote on Thursday. The next election will be held on November 1. This is going to be the fifth parliamentary election in four years in this Jewish country. According to media reports, a vote was taken in the Israeli parliament on Thursday to dissolve the legislature. Most of the MPs voted in favor of dissolving the parliament.
