Sohail Rana, Narail: The members of 'Dream Search Foundation' have shown indomitable courage by crossing hundreds of kilometers from Narail. This voluntary organization has stood by the flood victims of Sylhet and Sunamganj. To this end, the members of the organization rushed to Sylhet and Sunamganj from Narail with relief materials in a medium truck. They are rushing to different areas of Sunamganj with relief from 8 am on Tuesday (June 26). Earlier on Monday, members of the Foundation in Search of Dreams cooked dinner among 500 Banavasi people in different areas of Sunamganj Sadar. They will distribute relief in Sylhet and Sunamganj for three days. Relief items include four kilograms of rice, one kilogram of pulses, onion, potato and oil, half a kilogram of garlic, chira and murti and one sanitary napkin, water purification medicine and saline. These food items will be distributed among 220 families. There are also new clothes for 150 children. The members of the foundation are delivering these relief items and new clothes to the flood-hit remote areas. Mirza Ghalib Satej, a university student and founding president of the Foundation in Search of Dreams, said that since its inception in 2016, the organization has been working to improve the living standards of the helpless, uprooted and floating Vedic community. Humanitarian work always encourages them. In continuation of this, this time Banavasi tried to stand by the people of Sylhet and Sunamganj. The members of the organization have extended a helping hand to the flood victims by raising money from the cost of education. Apart from their relatives and expatriates, traders and pedestrians from Rupganj, Maijpara and Lohagarh markets of Narail city have also assisted them in this work. In all, they are distributing relief of two lakh rupees. There is a desire to provide more relief later. Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Habibur Rahman, Superintendent of Police Prabir Kumar Roy PPM (Bar), Civil Surgeon Dr Nasima Akhtar and many others have encouraged this work. Mirza Ghalib Satej said that the foundation's path in search of dreams started by sharing the joyous program with the uprooted children on the World Love Day on 14 February 2016. Since then, they have been working for disadvantaged children, the floating Vedic community and helpless people. Following this, the Foundation in Search of Dreams won the 'Joy Bangla Youth Award-2021' in recognition of its work in improving the quality of education and living among the floating Vedic community. Snogan wants to continue such arrangements in the future as well. Our hope is that people of different professions, including the younger generation, will be inspired to do such positive work. Apart from Mirza Ghalib Satej, members of the organization Sohag Faraji, Shamim Hossain, Al Amin, Sourav Mollah, Sheikh Saadi, Choyan Dey, Mohiuddin, Rana Roy, Syed Parbat and Khalid Parvez are also present in the relief distribution activities in the flood affected areas. Meanwhile, in search of dreams, the foundation has been doing various positive works including distributing food items to helpless people, free vegetable market, cutting paddy of poor farmers, medical services, distribution of iftar in hospitals and orphanages, giving new clothes to children of Eid Chhinnamul and Vedic communities. The organization currently has 45 members. Most of them are college and university students.
