A colorful procession and assembly was held in Kushtia on the occasion of inauguration of Padma Bridge

Rabiul Alam, Kushtia: With the participation of people from all walks of life in Kushtia, a colorful joyous procession and gathering was organized by the Kushtia district administration on the occasion of the inauguration of the Padma Bridge, the symbol of the dream of the people of Bengal. A colorful joyous procession led by Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Saidul Islam started from Kushtia Collectorate premises around 9 am on Saturday (June 25). The procession was led by Superintendent of Police Khairul Alam and was attended by district police administration, RAB-12 Kushtia, district Awami League leaders, leaders of various political parties, freedom fighters, journalists and school and college teachers and officials and employees of various government and non-government organizations. Was. The procession went around the main roads of Kushtia city and ended at the Collectorate premises. Later, the inauguration ceremony of the Padma Bridge was celebrated by flying balloons on the open Bangabandhu Cultural Stage at the Collectorate premises. At the same time, the inauguration ceremony of the Padma Bridge was broadcast live on a big TV monitor. On the occasion of inauguration of Padma Bridge, a cultural program has been organized on the same stage of Collectorate premises in the evening. Local artists including national level artists of Bangladesh will participate in this program.
