New commemorative note on the occasion of inauguration of Padma Bridge

Bangladesh Bank has printed a commemorative note of Rs 100 on the occasion of the inauguration of 'Padma Bridge'. This information was given to Bangladesh Bank on Thursday (June 23). News Desk: The new commemorative note will be available on Sunday (June 26) at the Motijheel office of Bangladesh Bank and later at other branch offices. The 147 mm * 63 mm commemorative note, signed by Bangladesh Bank Governor Fazle Kabir, has a portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the left side of the front and a picture of 'Padma Bridge' in the background. Slightly to the right of the top of the note is the title 'Padma Bridge, a symbol of the nation's glory'. Also, on the top right corner of the note, the value of the commemorative note is written as ‘100’ in English, at the bottom right corner, the value is written as ‘100’ in Bengali and in the middle of the top, ‘one hundred rupees’. A separate image of 'Padma Bridge' has been added on the back of the note. The title of the note on the top right of the note is ‘Padma Bridge - The symbol of national pride ONE HUNDRED TAKA’. Also, in the upper left corner and bottom right corner of the note is written '100' in valuable English and in the lower left corner is written '100' in Bengali. In addition, the bottom of the note has ‘Bangladesh Bank Monogram’ in the middle and ‘BANGLADESH BANK’ on the left and ‘ONE HUNDRED TAKA’ on the right. The 100 Taka commemorative note printed on 100% cotton paper has 4 mm wide security thread on the left side of the portrait of Bangabandhu and on the right side of the note are printed 'Portrait of Bangabandhu', '200' and 'Monogram of Bangladesh Bank'. Varnish coating has also been added on both surfaces of the note.
