Terrorist attack on a journalist in Kaliganj

Mostafizur Rahman, Lalmonirhat: On his way back home after collecting news in Kaliganj of Lalmonirhat, the staff report of Bangladesh Samachar newspaper, journalist Sabbir Ahmed was attacked by the terrorists of Quader and Gafur forces. Sabbir Ahmed, a journalist, said that on his way home after collecting the news at around 5 pm on Wednesday, 4/5 terrorists stopped him at Sundrahabi village in Tusbhandar union of Kaliganj upazila and attacked him with sticks. Several items, including a physically abused man and his camera worth Rs 10,000, were snatched and smashed. At that time, Sabir Ahmed, a journalist of Quader Bahini and Gafur Bahini, threatened to kill him if he reported any news against them and threatened not to enter their area in future and threatened to kill them. He is currently admitted in Kaliganj Upazila Health Complex. Kaliganj Police Station OC AT M Golam Rasul admitted the incident and said, "I have heard that they have complained that legal action will be taken."
