They handed them over to the court on Sunday. Birampur Police Station in-charge Sumon Kumar Mahanta said they raided Faruk Hossain's chicken farm in Shimlatali area of ​​Ward 8 of Birampur Municipal City around 11:30 pm on Saturday. At that time, 6 people were arrested in Hatena along with gambling equipment. 29 thousand rupees have been recovered. At that time other players fled with money. Among the arrested gamblers are Mahbub Alam Bakul, 50, son of Alhaj Hossain Mandal of Shimlatali in Birampur and Ashraful Islam, 38, son of Azizar Rahman of Katla Union, and Monwar Hossain, 33, son of Alimuddin of Shimlatali Kolejpara. Uttam Kumar Sarkar, 28, son of Mukul Chandra Sarkar of Shapur in Ghoraghat upazila, Nowshad, 45, son of Taslim Uddin of the same area, Dabirul Islam, 52, son of Jasim Uddin of Dharanda village of Nawabganj upazila and Mahabul Islam, 45, son of Machir Uddin of Pirganj upazila of Rangpur. The Birampur police have handed over the gamblers to the Judicial Magistrate's Court in Dinajpur on Sunday after filing a case against them under Section 3/4 of the 18th Act.
