In a written statement, Mehdi Hasan Palash, a student of the Department of Islamic History and Culture, said that Nupur Sharma and Naveen Kumar Jindal, leaders of the ruling BJP government in India, had hurled insults at the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The Muslim community all over the world is protesting against their actions. We demand exemplary punishment for these two culprits of India for disturbing religious peace.
